Blog Post: August 3, 2018 – All about Edna

“Go out, go out I beg of you And taste the beauty of the wild. Behold the miracle of the earth With all the wonder of a child.” ~Edna Jaques

Edna is loved by many, many students.  She was delivered to us on September 7, 2016.    She has been growing up on the farm, out in the pastures & in the heifer barn with her other heifer friends.  But the time has come to welcome the expectant Edna back to the barn.  There she will reside with your Mother, Brodie & older sister, Elsa.  Once Edna delivers her calf, she becomes a cow, and will join the milking herd.  Her milk will then be made into the award winning Tarentaise cheese.  It has been so fun watching this spunky gal grow into a beautiful bovine!
